Our Preferred Partner Network (PPN) allows you to charge at convenient, reliable charging stations at exceptional charging rates. We partner with top charge point operators to offer you these special rates in applicable tariffs.

You can see the current participants in the PPN and their prices for your tariff on the local Tariffs page or in the Tariffs section of your account settings. You can also filter for participating partners in your market on the Map.

PPN offers are subject to market availability. When we launch the PPN in a new tariff or market, we will update the local Tariffs page and Map. 

We will communicate any changes in participating partners and/or increases in price via email. You can also see the current pricing and participants in the Preferred Partner Network on the Tariffs page for your market or in the Tariffs section of your account settings, or you can filter for participating partners in your market on the Map.

Yes, our service gives you access to one of Europe’s largest cross-border charging networks. This means you can conveniently charge your vehicle at any station within our network—no matter which country you’re in.

To view local charging fees and any applicable CPO partner programs and/or discounts, please visit the local Tariffs page. The specific rates for each charging session at a given station are displayed in the Mercedes-Benz app and may change over time. We recommend checking the applicable rates before starting your charging session.

For charging sessions abroad, you will receive an invoice in your home currency. The conversion is processed after the session using the European Central Bank’s exchange rate from the previous day.

To change your current tariff plan, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account
   Access your MB.CHARGE Public account here.
2. Navigate to contracts
   Once logged in, go to the "Contracts" section.
3. Find your tariff information
   Scroll down to the tariff details of your active contract.
4. Switch tariff option
   Click on the "Switch tariff" action button located next to your tariff information.
5. Review & Confirm
   Follow the on-screen instructions to review the new tariff details. Confirm your selection to proceed.

Important notes:

• When do tariff changes take effect?
  The timing depends on whether you're upgrading or downgrading your tariff.

  • Upgrade (switching to a tariff with a higher or new monthly base fee): The change takes effect the next calendar day.

  • Downgrade (switching to a tariff with a lower or no monthly base fee): The change takes effect on your next reference date of the contract — the same day of the month your current tariff started. For example, if your current tariff started on May 7 and you downgrade on May 30, the new tariff begins on June 7.

• Switching limitations: Ensure your account is free of unpaid invoices, as pending payments may block tariff adjustments.
• Effect on changed contract & associated charging card: Please note that changing your tariff will not affect your contract's charging card.
• Promotions and vouchers: When you change your tariff, any vouchers or promotions currently applied may be lost and cannot be restored. Please keep this in mind before confirming a tariff change. You will also see notifications on our website guiding you through the process.
